Why book the whole yacht

No strangers on board. The deck, the swim stop and the captain’s attention are all yours.

Your pace. Want more time with the dolphins or a longer swim? Tell the captain — within the 3 hours, the trip adapts to your group.

Often cheaper than seats. For a group of 9 or more adults, the whole yacht costs less than nine adult seats on the shared trip (9 × €49 = €441).

20+ years at sea. Our team has been sailing and watching whales off Tenerife for more than 20 years, so your private trip is in experienced hands.

Who it is for

  • Families with small children who want space and their own rhythm
  • Couples celebrating an anniversary, a proposal or a honeymoon
  • Friends and groups of up to 11 people
  • Proposals, birthdays and hen parties — we decorate the yacht and plan every detail with you

What you are likely to see

AnimalHow often we see them
Short-finned pilot whalesAlmost every trip, all year round
Bottlenose dolphinsAbout half of our trips
Sea turtlesSometimes, mostly in summer

The area off Costa Adeje is part of the Teno-Rasca marine protected area. Mizendoha, Lina Siete and Madoudou are Barco Azul authorised, so we watch whales the way the Canary Islands rules require.

How the 3 hours go

  1. Welcome aboard at Puerto Colón — your yacht, your crew, a short safety briefing.
  2. Sail to the whales, usually 20–40 minutes away. The captain finds the pod and tells you about it.
  3. Swim and snorkel for about 30 minutes at Diego Hernández beach when the sea allows, with drinks, fruit and snacks on deck.
  4. Sail back to Puerto Colón.

WhatsApp us
Is the yacht really only for us?

Yes. When you book a private trip, the whole yacht and crew are reserved for your group. No other guests join.

How much does it cost?

€399 per yacht for 3 hours, for up to 11 guests. The price is per yacht, not per person, and includes drinks, snacks and snorkel gear.

How many people can come?

Up to 11 guests, children and babies included.

What is the difference from the shared trip?

On the shared trip you book seats and sail with other guests for €49 per adult. On a private trip the yacht is yours, and the captain can adapt the time at the whales and at the swim stop to your group.

Will we see whales?

Almost certainly. Pilot whales live off Costa Adeje all year and we see them on almost every trip; bottlenose dolphins on about half. They are wild animals, so no one can guarantee it.

Can we celebrate a birthday or propose on board?

Yes. We regularly host proposals, birthdays and hen parties, and we decorate the yacht for the occasion. Every celebration is planned individually — tell us your idea when you book.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks — just no single-use plastic, please. You can also order pizza, paella and other restaurant dishes in advance.

Is it OK for babies and small children?

Yes. Families with children of all ages sail with us, and children’s life jackets are on board — just ask the crew.

Can wheelchair users join?

Yes. Mizendoha has a boarding ramp and an accessible toilet on board. Tell us when you book so we plan your trip on Mizendoha and the crew is ready to help you on board. Unfortunately, guide dogs cannot come on board.

Do you have vegan or gluten-free food?

Yes. Sandwiches come regular, vegan or gluten-free, and you can order restaurant dishes like pizza or paella in advance.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

You pay the full price or a 50% deposit when you book. If you cancel 5 days or more before the trip, you get a full refund; between 5 days and 48 hours, 50% of what you paid; less than 48 hours before, or if you don’t show up, no refund. If the captain cancels because of the weather, you choose another date or a full refund.
