Getting from Los Cristianos to Puerto Colón
Puerto Colón is about 10 minutes by car or taxi from the centre of Los Cristianos, past Playa de las Américas. The easiest option is our pick-up service: our van collects you from your hotel and brings you back after the trip.
Pick-up between Los Cristianos and Playa Paraíso costs from €10 per person for up to 8 guests, paid to the driver. Ask about pick-up.
Why sail with us instead of a big boat from the harbour
A small group. On our yachts there are never more than 11 guests, so everyone gets a place at the rail and time to talk to the crew.
Under sail. Our trips are on sailing yachts, so the approach to the whales is calm and quiet.
Licensed and responsible. Mizendoha, Lina Siete and Madoudou are Barco Azul authorised vessels, and we follow the Canary Islands whale-watching rules on every trip.

What you are likely to see
| Animal | How often we see them |
|---|---|
| Short-finned pilot whales | Almost every trip, all year round |
| Bottlenose dolphins | About half of our trips |
| Sea turtles | Sometimes, mostly in summer |
The sea off south-west Tenerife is part of the Teno-Rasca marine protected area. Mizendoha, Lina Siete and Madoudou are Barco Azul authorised, so we watch whales the way the Canary Islands rules require.

Tips for guests staying in Los Cristianos
- Book the pick-up when you book the trip, so the driver can plan the route — it is paid directly to the driver.
- Families: children of all ages are welcome, and children’s life jackets are on board.
- Make a day of it: after a morning trip, the beaches of Los Cristianos and Las Vistas are close by for the afternoon.
What’s included on every whale trip
A sandwich (regular, vegan or gluten-free), fruit, drinks — beer, wine, coffee, soft drinks and water — snorkel gear, life jackets, insurance and a swim stop at Diego Hernández beach when the sea allows.
