We want everyone to be able to plan and enjoy a trip with us — on the website and on board.
On board
- Mizendoha has a boarding ramp and an accessible toilet on board, and is the yacht we use for wheelchair users and guests with reduced mobility. Tell us when you book so the crew is ready to help.
- Children’s life jackets are on board — just ask the crew.
- Vegan and gluten-free sandwiches are available on request.
- Unfortunately, guide dogs cannot come on board.

On this website
We build boattriptenerife.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. In practice this means:
- The whole site works with a keyboard and with screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA). A “Skip to content” link is the first item on every page.
- Text and buttons meet AA colour contrast, and tap targets are at least 44 × 44 pixels.
- Images that carry information have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Page language is declared, headings follow a logical order, and FAQs use native, accessible disclosure controls.
- Animations stop automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
Accessibility settings
Open the accessibility button at the top of any page to:
- make text larger (up to 140%);
- switch on high contrast (black, white and yellow, no gradients);
- use a readable font (Atkinson Hyperlegible) with wider spacing;
- underline all links;
- stop all animations.
Your settings are saved on your device and apply to every page. We do not use an accessibility “overlay” widget — the settings are built into the site itself.
Booking calendar
Online booking is provided by our partner TuriTop inside a booking window. We cannot fully control its accessibility. If the calendar is hard to use for you, call or message us and we will book for you at the same price.
Known limitations
- Some older blog photos have short or generic descriptions. We are rewriting them.
- The privacy policy and cookie policy are currently available in English only.
